About Me

My name is Dev Vikram Upadhyay, a 20-year-old Wildlife photographer and Indian traditional artist. Over the years of my life, I immersed myself in the beautiful Jungles of India, capturing its beauty and the tribal arts nurtured in them. While my primary focus lies in capturing the mind-blowing beauty of the Indian jungles, I also interest myself in the tribal arts of India.

As a kid, I was always interested in the art of photography and painting as both provide me with a platform to capture a precious moment and create a memory forever at the same time. There is always enthusiasm and joy that fill my heart whenever I have a chance to visit the jungles and learn from masters of different genres of tribal arts.

Photography, to me, is nothing short of amazing. It has the power to capture fleeting moments, preserving them in stillness, and immortalizing instances that may never repeat themselves. With every click of the shutter, I strive to freeze time and unleash the beauty that surrounds us, in all its motion.

The same goes for these traditional art forms, they provide a very basic understanding of the creation of the World through depictions such as the Tree of Life in Gond art. Even modern art today helps us identify the problem of the present such as Deforestation by Salvador Dali.

This website strives to achieve in capturing the beauty of the world through my camera lens and understand the foundation through brushstrokes.
